Where should water filter be placed?
The water filtration system should be installed in-line with the existing plumbing line. Look for a horizontal run after the home’s main shut-off valve, before it branches off to other parts of the house.

The carbon filter is installed prior to the water softener. This extends the life of the softener by removing chlorine prior to the softener and makes for great clean water through out the home.
