How does a home water purifier work?

Is 30 TDS water is safe for drinking?
Water is not acceptable for drinking. According to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the upper limit of TDS level in water is 500 ppm. The TDS level recommended by WHO, however, is 300 ppm.
